Nicklaus Golf | Park City

Scottish Links at 7,000 Feet

Home to 10 PGA Senior Tour® events, Park Meadows Country Club has since become the premier member-owned golf club in Park City -- golfers of every skill level play where the champions have played. Recently named to the Top 10 Courses in Utah by Golf Digest magazine, Park Meadows was also named the "Best Private Course" in Utah by Salt Lake Magazine in 2012. The immaculate course is maintained by superintendent John Haynes, named PGA Utah Section 2015 Superintendent of the Year - Private Club.

Additionally, Park Meadows was listed #3 on Utah Business magazine's 2014 Book of Lists, Golf Courses; and Hole #15 was named "Best Golf Hole" in the Park Record newspaper's 2016 Park City's Best readers's poll.

With expansive practice facilities and year-round golf simulator; professional lessons, clinics and golf services; an award-winning pro-shop (Utah PGA Best Merchandiser 2012 & 2014); pre- and post-golf amenities such as luxurious locker rooms, patios and decks with flat-screen TVs, delicious menu items and bar service, hundreds of golfers make Park Meadows their home course.

Each golf season Park Meadows members look forward to daily games, weekly competitions and the Club’s incomparable member and member-guest tournaments. Annual events include the Roundup Member-Member, Silver Queen Ladies Invitational, Kemosabi Men’s Member-Guest, Club Championships (Men’s, Women’s, Senior & Junior), and Ryder/Presidents Cup and Solheim Cup match play competitions. Throughout the season members of all skill levels and ages enjoy golf schools and clinics, Nine & Dine parties, inter-club events, and a variety of open daily games. The Park Meadows Ladies Association also coordinates a full schedule of ladies-only gatherings, including weekly golf & lunch days, Girls Night Out parties, and team match play competition with other Utah country clubs.

We won again! Our #15 was named 2017 and 2016 Best Golf Hole in Park City through The Park Record's annual readers' choice survey of Park City's Best.

    • MEMBER-MEMBER TOURNAMENTS AND 9 & DInes

The Round-Up is our annual member-member kickoff to the summer season, and later on the year we hold the Club championships, as well as the ladies Solheim Cup and men's Ryder Cup and President's Cup match play tournaments.
Nine and Dines are extremely popular events because they are so social! They begin with a happy hour on the range, then a fun game of golf for nine holes, followed by a scrumptious dinner. Several of these events are held on Sunday evenings throughout the summer.

      Member-Guest Tournaments

Our member-guest tournaments are the biggest events of the year at Park Meadows. As a staff we take great pride in putting together world-class events for our members and their guests.

The men’s Kemosabi Member-Guest is a four-day event that takes place over the last week of July, and is a two-man best ball format. Over the course of the four-day event members enjoy complementary breakfast, lunch, beverages and appetizers following play. The event concludes with a formal awards dinner on the Saturday of the event complete with live music and dancing.

The Silver Queen Invitation is our ladies’ member-guest tournament, held in early July. This is a multi-format Stableford tournament that concludes with a scramble on the last day of play. Following the event we hold an awards luncheon for the ladies. Like many of our ladies’ golf events this tournament has grown over the past years and we see more and more participants every year.

      Ladies Golf

The golf programs for women have grown exponentially over the past few years and now have some of the highest participation of any golf activities at the Club. Every week we offer a ladies golf clinic that focuses on one aspect of the game of golf. These clinics are for players of any ability.

Twice per summer we hold two ladies’ golf schools for both low handicappers and high handicappers. These clinics cover all of the necessary skills needed in the game of golf. We begin at the practice facilities and work our way out onto the course so you can put your new techniques to the test.

Wednesdays are Ladies’ Days. Participants are split up between 18-holers and 9-holers. The 18-hole group members are more advanced golfers who want to go out and play a full round of golf. The 9-holers are made up of the women who are new to the game and don’t want to play a full 18 holes. Every Ladies' Day ends with lunch and laughter on the patio.

In 2015, we instituted a popular new program for women learning to play and love the game. They play only three holes on their weekly outings, while gaining experience and confidence along with other members of similar ability.

      JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS

The junior program is a very important aspect of the operation in a family-forward club such as Park Meadows. In the interest of getting kids started and progressing the game, we are seeking to grow the junior program and provide more access to golf equipment, and instruction to all that are interested. From June 2nd to August 4th, there will be a total of seven weekly junior clinics held on Tuesday afternoons. These clinics are geared towards beginning to intermediate junior golfers, and will provide basic fundamentals in a relaxed, fun environment.

In addition to the weekly clinics, Scott Sackett will be leading two junior golf schools held on June 30-July 2, and July 21-23. The golf schools will cover all of the basics, from putting to chipping to the full swing. Along with the clinics and schools available, we are creating a regular event that targets the progression of the more advanced junior players.

New this year, we have our own junior golf team that competes with other golf course junior teams in the area, sponsored by the Utah PGA Junior Golf League.
