About Park Meadows Country Club
Unique Connections, Remarkable Experiences
Opening in 1983, Park Meadows Country Club is the only in-town golf and social club in the mountain town of Park City, Utah. Nestled in the exclusive Park Meadows neighborhood, the renowned Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and clubhouse with fitness center and swimming pool are located just minutes from historic Main Street and the area ski resorts.
As the only member-owned private golf and social club in the area, Park Meadows members enjoy an enhanced lifestyle in Park City—named Best Town Ever by Outside magazine—making lasting friendships and family memories. Whether golfers or not, couples, families and individuals partake in fun parties and social events, and luxuriate in extraordinary cuisine prepared just for members and their guests.
Where the Legends Have Played
When 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus first visited what would become Park Meadows golf course, he saw beautiful fields, flowing streams and majestic peaks. The golf legend nestled a course into this dramatic scene, gracing his design with wooden bridges, a lacework of waterways and 105 sand bunkers. Opened in 1983, the course has delighted golfers of all abilities with its stunning scenery and challenging play.
Ten years later, Park Meadows played host to its first of 10 PGA Senior Tour® events and was ranked a "Top 10" Senior Tour Event site by Sports Illustrated in 2002. When you play Park Meadows, you drive the same fairways and putt the same greens as golfing greats Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Tom Watson, and, of course, Jack Nicklaus.
“Offering a rare blend of scenic beauty and challenging play for every skill level, Park Meadows Country Club delivers a memorable experience for all golfers. I hope the Members enjoy playing this golf course as much as I enjoyed designing it.” —Jack Nicklaus
In 1997, Melrose Corporation purchased Park Meadows Country Club, followed by a minor renovation by Jack Nicklaus. Five years later members purchased the club from Melrose to form the premier member-owned club in Park City.
The members approved a comprehensive $7.5 million golf course restoration and modernization project in 2007. The course re-opened for play in spring 2009 and still retains Nicklaus’ original links-style design and layout, with totally refurbished greens and bunkers, expanded practice facilities, state-of-the-art irrigation and drainage systems and visual enhancements throughout. Park Meadows subsequently was rated 2012 "Best Private Course" in Utah by Salt Lake Magazine's Best of the Beehive awards.
With a challenging yet easily walkable course, golfers of every level can be a part of the tradition of mountain golf in Park City, Utah.

Speaking of Arnold Palmer, we are saddened to hear of his passing this week (Sept. 25, 2016). We are humbled and privileged to have experienced The King's participation and presence during numerous Senior PGA Tour® events here. Read about it in a column by Kurt Kragthorpe of The Salt Lake Tribune. Also, read this The Salt Lake Tribune piece titled "Arnold Palmer made Utah's senior tournament happen."
Meadows Country Club Re-opens Clubhouse Following Major Renovation
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Held After Year-long Construction Project
(Dec. 7, 2017) — Park Meadows Country Club today opened its clubhouse following a multi-million dollar complete renovation to upgrade infrastructure and create better functionality for club member service. The project began in November 2016, and is phase one of a two-part facilities improvement. Phase two is a new swimming pool and recreation complex to begin construction in spring 2018.
“The process to upgrade our clubhouse was a team effort,” said PMCC president Greg Clark. “Park Meadows member volunteers played a substantial role in the renovation, every step of the way.”
A private, member-owned club since 2002, Park Meadows’ clubhouse was completed in 1994 while the club was semi-private. It had not seen a major renovation since its opening and significant systems and structure updates were needed. Along with infrastructure modernization and transforming the classic mountain clubhouse into a state-of-the-art “mountain contemporary” facility, the renovation reconfigured the main floor. A vibrant, casual lounge and larger bar experience combine with the main dining room to showcase the spectacular mountain views. Dining and events are supported by a spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen that can serve hundreds. The ladies and men’s locker rooms are upgraded with improved lounge areas and luxury fixtures and amenities, while the fitness center is outfitted with the latest in cardio equipment, plus a new movement studio and group classroom space.
The larger retail golf shop now has optimal views of the practice range and starting tees, and a TruGolf simulator room provides for year-round golf practice, lessons and social events.
The improved clubhouse complements the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, which opened in 1983, and was restored and modernized in 2008. The course was named to Golf Digest magazine’s 2017 top 10 courses in Utah.
The design and construction team included architect Rick Brighton of Brighton Architectural Group; designer Ric Jedzriewski of Jedzriewszki Designs, Salt Lake City; and general contractor Big-D Construction Signature Group.
